Bible Reading :‭Ephesians 3:17-19 NIV‬. Key Verse : 19.

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

At the point when Apostle Paul was writing this letter to the Ephesian believers, he was going through a lot of persecution including imprisonment. He didn’t want his spiritual children to be discouraged by his ordeals. Rather he was interceding for these Ephesian believers, to be imparted with spiritual blessings from the presence of the father of all, so that they could be their best through knowledge and by the help of the Spirit. From this prayer, we need to pick some things that will help our walk with the Lord.

The first thing to point out here is that at the point when we give our lives to Jesus, we become members of God’s family and household. This means that we now bear the name of God which is a mark of divine separation. “For it was always in his perfect plan to adopt us as his delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One, so that his tremendous love that cascades over us would glorify his grace—for the same love he has for his Beloved One, Jesus, he has for us. And this unfolding plan brings him great pleasure! Since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of redemption by his blood—the total cancellation of our sins—all because of the cascading riches of his grace.” Ephesians 1:5-7 TPT. This new status opens us up to spiritual blessings as our inheritance. This is made possible through the channel of faith in the finished work of the cross.

Again, we are to be rooted and grounded on the soil of his love. This love is beyond every human explanations. This is because it pleased God to join himself to ourselves because of the sacrifice of Jesus and by the help of his Spirit given to us. Now we are carrying God inside us anywhere we find ourselves, even as ourselves are also found to exist in him too. The implications of this two fold relationship is that we can never walk alone in life. Anytime we are involved in any situation or thing, the entire Godhead is also involved. His presence is what gurrantees us victory in every battles of life. “I pray for them all to be joined together as one even as you and I, Father, are joined together as one. I pray for them to become one with us so that the world will recognize that you sent me. For the very glory you have given to me I have given them so that they will be joined together as one and experience the same unity that we enjoy. You live fully in me and now I live fully in them so that they will experience perfect unity, and the world will be convinced that you have sent me, for they will see that you love each one of them with the same passionate love that you have for me.” John 17:21-23 TPT.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for giving up your life to redeem me unto yourself. Thank you giving me your Spirit and making me a member of God’s divine family. Let everything you paid for with your blood be real in my life. Thank you because I have become one with you and will manifest your glory all my days in Jesus wonderful name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Topic : Conducting A Check On Our Faithfulness Level.

Memory Verse :‭Luke 19:13. So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. ‘Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back.’

Bible Reading : ‭Luke 12:42-44 NIV‬. Key Verse : v44.

The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

When God sent his son Jesus Christ to the earth, his desire was to raise unto his father men that are like God himself. His teachings are meant to change the way we reason and behave as ordinary men. He came as a man to show us that it is possible for men to please God or to reason and behave like God, by the help of his Spirit who is the carrier of the nature of God. When we study the word of God carefully, we are able to see clearly whom God is and what he desires from us as his children. Through the written word we will be able to discover that one of the nature of God that we must imbibe as his children is faithfulness. There are many other dimensions of God’s nature which we can’t discuss now. For the purpose of mentioning, they include love, truthful, just, merciful, etc.

When Jesus was leaving the earth to rejoin the father in the heavenlies, he committed the business of his kingdom into the hands of men he trained, so that they can build on the foundation of truth he laid. They are to keep raising men who will continue to be stewards or custodians of the mysteries of God till when he returns to harvest his earth unto himself. This means that the Lord cannot do anything on earth, except his body who is the Church does same. To make men effective, he gave every believer gifts for the purpose of serving others in the kingdom to achieve his divine will or purpose. “Each one of us has received a special gift in proportion to what Christ has given. As the scripture says: “When he went up to the very heights, he took many captives with him; he gave gifts to people.” Now, what does “he went up” mean? It means that first he came down to the lowest depths of the earth.” Ephesians 4:7-9 GNB.

If you read down further in Ephesians 4:11-12, you will see men called into ministry offices as to be kingdom leaders at various levels. Below them, you will see an army of believers whom they are to equip or train to execute divine agenda anywhere we find ourselves around the world. No believer is left out in this divine arrangement, so we can’t claim ignorance. Every believer is here to manage divine resources as made available by Jesus through the Holy Spirit to us to impact others positively. We are responsible to discover our giftings in Christ Jesus and also to channel them into productivity. This we must also do faithfully. The more faithful we are in carrying out divine assignment here om earth, the more heaven decorates or promotes us with higher responsibilities. Today we are to conduct a check on ourselves as individuals in the body of Christ to see how faithful we have been at our various duty posts around the world. In doing this, we must not loose sight of the fact that everything God has given us is to be used to serve his kingdom purposes, and that at his return he is going to reward each and every one of us depending on the level of our faithfulness.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for bringing me into your family, kingdom and plan here on earth through redemption. Help me to discover everything you have blessed me with and to use them all to and serve your purpose. Help me not be careless or found wanting. By your Spirit, I stand to be faithful im everything you have committed to my care. Thank you because I will not loose my reward at the end in Jesus mighty name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Memory Verse:1 Kings 9:5. I will keep the promise I made to your father David when I told him that Israel would always be ruled by his descendants.

the Lord appeared to him again, as he had in Gibeon. The Lord said to him, “I have heard your prayer. I consecrate this Temple which you have built as the place where I shall be worshipped for ever. I will watch over it and protect it for all time. If you will serve me in honesty and integrity, as your father David did, and if you obey my laws and do everything I have commanded you,

Solomon became king over the people of Israel after the demise of his father David according to the will of God. He began his reign by warming himself into the heart of God by sacrifice, which made God appear to him at Gibeon with an open cheque to give him whatever he desired. This time he had just finished building the temple of God and his official palace which his father David had prepared materials for waiting for his arrival, according to divine instructions. This time the Lord returned to relate with king Solomon as a friend as to let him know how to retain his favour and mercies perpetually. God made him understand that his success or failure will depend on how well he is able to reverence and serve the purpose of the God of his father David, who makes men.

In our days, the God we serve doesn’t live in houses or temples built by men. He told men yesterday, he is still saying today. However, the large and beautiful auditoriums we build in our days, no matter how elegant they are does not have what it takes to to accommodate the almighty. The Lord cannot manifest himself using the structures constructed with dead materials that can’t accommodate him. Today we need to learn that God is a Spirit and therefore can’t operate in this earth realm without a body as a vehicle. The temple the Lord desires to live in, watch over and operate from today is the man he created in his image and likeness. “Don’t you realize that together you have become God’s inner sanctuary and that the Spirit of God makes his permanent home in you? Now, if someone desecrates God’s inner sanctuary, God will desecrate him, for God’s inner sanctuary is holy, and that is exactly who you are.” 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 TPT.

We owe God a duty to therefore consecrate our body and make ourselves houses fit for the Spirit of God to live in. Not only that, we must decide to walk with the Lord will with a heart of honesty and integrity, just like men who went before us. Their records with God is there to make us wiser and most accurate in our dealings with the Lord. We have to understand that we have received grace that has no boundaries. God is able to bless, prosper, establish and uphold us to the extent we are yielded to his Spirit resident in us. The more room we give him in our lives and the more control we allow him to have in all decisions and endeavours, the more he is able to invest his presence and attendant blessings till mighty hands upon our lives becomes obvious for all to see. We must know that God will be faithful in keeping his promises in our lives to the extent ourselves stay faithful in keeping his instructions that are meant to preserve and keep us on track with him.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because you desire to live in me and walk with me, even in my humble nature. Today help me to purge myself of anything that will hinder your presence in my life. Let your Spirit guide me in the paths of life, till my life becomes a testimony that draws men to you in Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Topic : Take Your Place In God’s Plan.

Memory Verse :‭John 14:13. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

When Jesus knew that the time of his crucifixion was close, he began to prepare his disciples for a life without his physical presence. At the point when be began to talk about going back to the father, Philip asked that he should show them the father and that should be able to take care of their curiosity. Jesus began then let them know plainly that he is the manifestation of God the father in human of physical form. In John 4:24 Jesus made us understand by Jacob’s well during his engagement with the Samaritan woman that came to fetch water that God is Spirit and men who desires to connect to him must explore the spirit realm in order to access him. Jesus on earth physically was God in the flesh or in a diluted form. In the realm that men can handle in our weakness and be preserved.

One of the evidence of divinity in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ is the things he said and did. At a point in the Bible, they brought a sick man to Jesus who was afflicted because of his sins. Jesus trying to minister healing simply told him that his sins was forgiven. That incurred the wrath of the Pharisees and lawyers because they knew that only God had the capacity to forgive sins. “When Jesus saw how much faith they had, he said to the man, “Your sins are forgiven, my friend.” The teachers of the Law and the Pharisees began to say to themselves, “Who is this man who speaks such blasphemy! God is the only one who can forgive sins!” Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Why do you think such things? Is it easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? I will prove to you, then, that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralysed man, “I tell you, get up, pick up your bed, and go home!”” Luke 5:20-24.

Today, we need to understand that every power and authority that Jesus shared with the father, he has delegated to all who believes in him, even in our days. Every follower of Jesus anywhere around the world therefore has what it takes to command the miraculous. We are not therefore permitted to live ordinary, but supernatural lives here on earth our locations, color and race notwithstanding. Again Jesus went further to commit himself to giving us whatever we should ask the father in his name, as long as such requests are in agreement with his will. We must therefore learn to align with divine purpose to Jesus type of results always. “And if you ask, you won’t receive it for you’re asking with corrupt motives, seeking only to fulfill your own selfish desires. You have become spiritual adulterers who are having an affair, an unholy relationship with the world. Don’t you know that flirting with the world’s values places you at odds with God? Whoever chooses to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy!” James 4:3-4 TPT.

Prayer :Thank you Father God because of your great plan for my life that was activated at redemption. From today, help me by your Spirit to understand what Jesus did for me. By your Spirit, I take my place in your plan for my humble life and begin to command extra ordinary results in everything I do, in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Living To Please Jesus.

Topic : Living To Please Jesus.

Memory Verse :‭Colossians 3:13. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Bible Reading :‭Colossians 3:10-12 NIV‬. Key Verse : v10.

and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Apostle Paul began this chapter by making us know that as believers, our priorities on earth must change to align with our new found faith in Jesus Christ. We are to live to value and pursue things that are in the heavenlies because they have eternal value. Things of this world are not meant to control us anymore since they are temporal and fading away. “Don’t set the affections of your heart on this world or in loving the things of the world. The love of the Father and the love of the world are incompatible. For all that the world can offer us—the gratification of our flesh, the allurement of the things of the world, and the obsession with status and importance—none of these things come from the Father but from the world. This world and its desires are in the process of passing away, but those who love to do the will of God live forever.” 1 John 2:15-17 TPT.

We have to put on consciously the nature of God by the help of his indwelling Spirit. This becomes possible when we open up to learn at the feet of Jesus himself who is the greatest teacher ever. We have to go for his teachings and that of men who sat under him, men who was used to pass the baton of faith to us. We have to be desirous to know more of Jesus, we have to go after every of his instructions in order to live by them. This is because knowledge becomes profitable only when we apply such to get desired results. “If you listen to the Word and don’t live out the message you hear, you become like the person who looks in the mirror of the Word to discover the reflection of his face in the beginning. You perceive how God sees you in the mirror of the Word, but then you go out and forget your divine origin. But those who set their gaze deeply into the perfecting law of liberty are fascinated by and respond to the truth they hear and are strengthened by it—they experience God’s blessing in all that they do!” James 1:23-25 TPT.

Finally for today, we must understand that in Christ we have become one, our tribe, language, race, colour and nationality notwithstanding. In Christ we have become members of the family of God and builders of his kingdom. We therefore have a common destiny in him. It will take therefore a heart of love and forgiveness to manage our various differences and sometimes weaknesses that may result in offenses when relating closely with one another. The Lord expects us to extend the unconditional love including the forgiveness we received from him to other believers anytime they offend us. Jesus taught that when we love one another, we will be proving to the world that we really belong to him. ““So I give you now a new commandment: Love each other just as much as I have loved you. For when you demonstrate the same love I have for you by loving one another, everyone will know that you’re my true followers.”” John 13:34-35 TPT.

Prayer : Thank you Lord Jesus for dying on the cross to save my soul. I pray that you help go after every your teachings, as to live by them. Give me a heart that loves the brethren, one that forgives easily. I live to please you on Jesus precious name…. Amen 🙏🏿.

Jesus Is The Light Of The World.

Topic : Jesus Is The Light Of The World.

Memory Verse :John 1:5. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never put it out.

who came to tell people about the light, so that all should hear the message and believe. He himself was not the light; he came to tell about the light. This was the real light — the light that comes into the world and shines on everyone.

The Bible from Genesis to Revelations was written to help us understand God and his plan of redemption for mankind. It pleased God to reveal himself to us through his word. The word of God was revealed to us first in the spoken form at creation before he came as a man to save man from sin and destruction. When we study creation very closely, we will see that God spoke everything he created into existence. ‭”And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.” Genesis 1:3-8 NIV‬.

‭”In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:1-5 NIV‬. Here we see the book of John 1 and Genesis 1 agreed concerning creation. But I want to point out here that the light God created in Genesis 1:4, was the physical light we have today that illuminates the entire universe which is the sun. He later created the moon and stars and assigned them for times and seasons.

Now the light that John in discussing in his own account id not a physical light. John is trying to help us understand that every man on earth needs to know the truth about God because there are many claims to divinity everywhere that is false and unfounded when subjected to rigorous tests. Apostle John is trying to open our eyes to a spiritual light that every man who desires to be with God must connect to. When any man misses this very light, he is bound to wallow in spiritual darkness all his days, his earthly status and achievements notwithstanding. The assignment of this spiritual light is so important that that God had to give John a ministry to identify and introduce him to the world. All we need in life is found in Jesus Christ, the word, the light, the way of truth and life of God revealed. When we embrace him, we embrace the plan of God for our lives. At this point he gives us his Spirit, so that we can help him light up our world anywhere we find ourselves. John 14:6, Matthew 5:14.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for giving us Jesus Christ who is your word revealed in the flesh. Thank you Lord Jesus for for being the light of the world that lights men up and makes them shine. I chose to live by you. Help me to shine your light all my days so that I can draw many to you in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Memory Verse :Colossians 2:17. All such things are only a shadow of things in the future; the reality is Christ.

Bible Reading :Colossians 2:14-26 GNB. key Verse : v14.

he cancelled the unfavourable record of our debts with its binding rules and did away with it completely by nailing it to the cross. And on that cross Christ freed himself from the power of the spiritual rulers and authorities; he made a public spectacle of them by leading them as captives in his victory procession. So let no one make rules about what you eat or drink or about holy days or the New Moon Festival or the Sabbath.

The work of redemption as accomplished by Jesus was complete. His righteous blood that was shed on the cross met all the requirements of divine justice, as prescribed by heaven. There’s no other thing men need to do to be saved, instead of believing in him. His entrance brought the era of rules of men to an end because he came to fulfill the requirements of the law by his sacrifice, so that we can live by grace in this generation. “John taught the truth about him when he announced to the people, “He’s the One! Set your hearts on him! I told you he would come after me, even though he ranks far above me, for he existed before I was even born.” And now out of his fullness we are fulfilled! And from him we receive grace heaped upon more grace! Moses gave us the Law, but Jesus, the Anointed One, unveils truth wrapped in tender mercy.” John 1:15-17 TPT.

“He is the key that opens all the hidden treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge. I tell you, then, do not let anyone deceive you with false arguments, no matter how good they seem to be. For even though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, and I am glad as I see the resolute firmness with which you stand together in your faith in Christ. Since you have accepted Christ Jesus as Lord, live in union with him.” Colossians 2:3-6. This life of union or partnership with Christ Jesus is the right key to live above the forces of nature and rules of men that leads nowhere. This time our lives has been empowered by the indwelling Spirit of God given to us freely to function perpetually in God’s presence where we live and operate in the realms of the wisdom and power of God that separates us from the crowd of ordinary men.

Today we have to open our hearts by faith to receive the full measure of grace that makes limitless possibilities available to us because of the fact that we are now members of God’s family and kingdom. We have to get involved in everything that encourages growth and maturity, so the we can make this grace count for the purpose of impact. We have to note that grace is a tool made available to believers for the purpose of impacting our world just like Jesus Christ himself, who has given us an example of how our lives should now be patterned, because we have become one with him indeed.

Prayer : Thank you Father God for giving me Jesus your son. Thank you Lord Jesus for bringing me into your grace and mercy by sacrifice. Help me to grow and be rooted in you by faith. Let my life be one you can depend on to make things happen in my lifetime in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Topic :The Beauty Of Grace.

Memory Verse :‭Ephesians 2:10. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Bible Reading :‭Ephesians 2:6-8 NIV‬. Key Verse : v8.

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God__

Grace is a very important instrument that God used to bring us into a life of union with himself through Jesus Christ. Before we encountered grace we were like outcasts and strangers to the covenant of divine blessings which we presently enjoy. Sin worked separation between God and man. Jesus came and laid down his life so that he can raise uncountable sons unto the father just like himself. He used his own blood to atone for the sin of all who dares to believe in him.
“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,” Ephesians 2:4-6.

We are presently seated in the heavenlies together with Jesus Christ our saviour. We have become one with the Godhead in answer to the prayers Jesus made before he returned to the heavenlies. ““And I ask not only for these disciples, but also for all those who will one day believe in me through their message. I pray for them all to be joined together as one even as you and I, Father, are joined together as one. I pray for them to become one with us so that the world will recognize that you sent me. For the very glory you have given to me I have given them so that they will be joined together as one and experience the same unity that we enjoy.” John 17:20-22.

Today we have to understand that everything we receive from God through Jesus Christ is by grace. This means we receive them as a gift and not by labour. The key to accessing grace and every other thing Jesus death and resurrection made available to us is faith. Men who want to walk with God must therefore believe him wholeheartedly and follow him and his instructions without any form of doubts. We were raised together with Jesus to a new version of life filled with good works. This is made possible by the creative work the Holy Spirit does in us and through us. We are here on earth to display the beauty of sonship and demonstrate his glory in fulfilling God’s will for our lives. “You have made them a kingdom of priests to serve our God, and they shall rule on earth.” Again I looked, and I heard angels, thousands and millions of them! Topic : From Suffering To Glory.

Memory Verse :‭1 Peter 5:9. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

Bible Reading :‭1 Peter 5:6-8 NIV‬. Key Verse : v8.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Here we have Apostle Peter full of the wisdom of God which was a product of years of being with Christ in the flesh as well as leading the early Church after his resurrection and ascension. He wants us to understand that challenges are normal occurances when we walk with the Lord. Therefore he taught us how best to handle such situations when they arise as to get best results. Some experience God allow us to have are meant to prepare us to be able to teach men coming behind us. “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-5.

One virtue that will be very helpful when we go through challenges is humility. Difficult situations sometimes are meant to bring us to breaking point, especially when we assume that we didn’t need any help. By the the time we discover our limitations and helplessness, we will see the need to involve God. Now, we need to understand that sufferings comes because we are being tested for higher blessings as children of God most time. That is when the accuser of the brethren obtains some form of permission from God’s presence to place obstacles on our way just like he did in the case of Job. ‭”“Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.” The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.” Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.” Job 1:10-12.

We have to understand also that we have what it takes to resist the enemy and stop him from having his way in anything that concerns us before the Lord when we are submitted to his authority, so that our lifting can become a reality and st his own timing. Again, we need to know that God allow us to share in the sufferings of Christ, so that we qualify to be partakers of his glory. The level of glory every believer commands in life is always determined by the price he id able to pay. “Since we are his children, we will possess the blessings he keeps for his people, and we will also possess with Christ what God has kept for him; for if we share Christ’s suffering, we will also share his glory. I consider that what we suffer at this present time cannot be compared at all with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.” Romans 8:17-18 GNB. Anytime God is involved, he always makes strength available that carries us through to the point of comfort, recovery and establishment.

Prayer: Thank you Lord Jesus for bringing me into a life of union with the Godhead by your sacrifice. Thank you because you have appointed me to share in your eternal glory as a member of the family of God. Whenever my faith in you is tested help me to always come out victorious, so that I keep climbing the heights of glory till everlasting victory in Jesus wonderful name….. Amen 🙏🏿.

Topic: Benefits Of Loving Jesus.

Memory Verse:Psalms 18:6. In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

Bible Reading:Psalms 18:1-3 KJV. Key Verse: V2.

I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Every man on earth owe God love. He first loved us in the first place to the point of giving us Jesus Christ who paid the ultimate price on the cross, so that he could redeem us unto himself. The only way we should respond to God’s love and gift of love in Christ is to love him in return and serve him with joy. The Psalmist is making us see some of the numerous benefits we enjoy, when we put our trust in the Lord.

Loving God causes a man to attach himself unto the Lord in response to the instructions of Jesus Christ who said…”Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30.

This call is one unto partnership; where a man decides to join himself permanently to the Lord in everything out of a heart of love. That is the legal ground that makes him become our salvation , strength and refuge, because his presence in whatever we do makes spiritual resources available to help us operate in his strength and might. At this point be becomes the rock that carries the burden of our lives. The challenges of life that comes as storms and evil wind, has no power over us because he builds a wall of defense around. In times trouble, he will always be there to deliver us . That’s the reason we can never be disappointed.

Prayer: Thank you father God for loving me and giving me Jesus Christ to save my soul. From today, I make up my mind to love and serve you all my days. Thank you for being my salvation, rock and hiding place in Jesus wonderful name… Amen 🙏.
